According to the DiMatteo letter, the principal differences between the existing Town zoning law and the proposed new law – more uses of property and more stringent setbacks for the Low Density District;  more permissive rules on accessory buildings and seasonal dwellings; and more permissive farm worker housing. 


Mr. DiMatteo expresses his support for the new tables and the radically different method for calculating permissible area coverage for buildings on different sized  lots.  He finds the tables in the new law to be more convenient to use.
